Homework #5
Each problem is worth 10 points 1. Perkins, 5.2. 2. Perkins, 5.5. 3. Perkins, 5.7, 4. Perkins, 5.8. 5. Perkins, 5.10. 6. Perkins, 5.11. Note that notation for Mandelstam variables in Perkins is slightly different from the one I used int he lecture, since his 3+1-space-time metric is (1,1,1,-iE), whereas I use (1,-1,-1,-1) in most of the course. You can use any notation you like, as long as you calculate the variables consistently.
